He Is Coming With The Clouds!

Doing a little work on Revelation and I just can’t get past this verse!  It always makes me giddy.  Listen.

“Behold, He is coming with the clouds.”   Rev 1:7a

It makes me giddy because every time I look at it I remember some of the other verses about Jesus and clouds.

Acts 1:9, 11 – “And after He had said these things He was lifted up while they were looking on and a cloud received Him out of their sight…”Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky?  This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into the heavens.”

He is coming with the clouds.

Now look in Isaiah 19:1.  “Behold, the Lord is riding on a swift cloud. . . ”

He is coming with the clouds.

And Daniel 7:13.  “I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven one like a Son of Man was coming, and He came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him…”

He is coming with the clouds, faithful friends!

Now look at Nahum 1:3:   “The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and the Lord will by no means leave the guilty unpunished.  In whirlwind and storm is His way; and clouds are the dust beneath His feet.”

This is a second coming scripture.  He is coming to judge the world – the guilty will not go unpunished.  But when He comes, clouds are going to be the dust beneath His feet!

Someone needs to shout, “Glory!”!  I am just getting giddy typing it.  Glory, glory, glory!  The clouds are the dust beneath His feet!

This is too cool! Today I read scriptures about, “..Him who rides upon the highest heavens..” , and “..at the mountain which God has desired for His abode? Surely He will dwell there forever…” then I SAW clouds today that looked like a mountain range. I don’t claim to understand, but the Psalm ends, “And His strength is in the skies. O God, You are awesome from Your sanctuary. The God of Isreal Himself gives strength and power to the people.” These are great words to explain what I saw in the clouds today. I will join you in singing, “Glory, glory, glory to God in the Highest!”
