Ready for a song? As I said in Wednesday’s blog Do What You Need To Do When Suffering A Loss, songs are important to me.
Always, by Kristian Stanfill is one of my favorite songs. Before you listen to it, I want to just highlight a few things he sings about.
We have a lot of foes in this world – death is one of them (Rev. 21:4). Death was not God’s plan. In fact, God hates death. When we are faced with a tragedy, we are really fighting a war. The war is the enemy trying to claim our faith – trying to cause us to fear – trying to cause us to lose hope – trying to cause us to lose sight of the only One who can help.
Know this: God will come through, not sometimes, not occasionally, but always. Let me say that again – always.
If you are now in the black, hold on. Stand firm on the solid rock of our Savior’s promises. Because His help is on the way.
So no matter what you are experiencing in life, be it a major storm, or a minor stress, don’t lose faith. God always comes through. Always.
