Get Inside the Ark

img_1260I recently went to the life size rendition of Noah’s Ark in Kentucky.  When you drive up to it, of course, you are impressed. The thing is really stinking big.  But what really impressed me was the inside.  It seemed even bigger.  Standing in that ark, walking from room to room, from level to level, you got the sense of just how big that thing really was.  It is really indescribable.  I tried to capture its size with a few pictures, but it really just couldn’t be done.

That is our God. He is big.  He is so big that we just can’t fathom Him.  From the outside, yes, we know He is big.  But when we get to know Him in a relationship. When we see the inside – He is even bigger.  His love is more than we can imagine.  His justice is more than we can fathom.  His wisdom is more than we can ever comprehend.

He is unending.  He is the Alpha and the Omega (Revelation 1:8).  He is the first and the last (Revelation 22:13).  He was in the beginning (Genesis 1:1) and He will be there in the end (Revelation 22:21).  He is above all the galaxies.  He is above the earth.  He is above all creation.

And He loves us.  And He wants a relationship with us.  He wants a relationship with YOU.

He wants you on the inside of the ark, not the outside.

Where are you today?  Are you looking at God from the outside?  Or are you walking through that door, “seeing the breadth, and the length and the height and the depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.”  Ephesians 3:18-19

If you get inside, you will never be the same.  And all the storms of life will pass you by, because you are in Him, and He can save us from all that will come our way.

May you be blessed.
