Welcome to Nic's Revelations

Hi! I'm Nic. So glad you stopped by today. When my husband was killed in action, my world became dark, but over the course of time Jesus has shown me how much He can SHINE through the darkness. I don't know what darkness surrounds you, but if you believe in the Savior, He can be your hope. And His hope is returning one day to take all the darkness away. I speak about this hope in my book entitled "Revelations: A Survivor's Story of Faith, Hope and the Coming Kingdom" which is available here and on Amazon. This site offers those walking in darkness hope so that our faith can be bold and victorious. My blogs are categorized for you by topic. If you want to know more about my story, you can read about it under "Check Out My Story." No matter what you are going through, know this: He's Coming and He Shines. Will you dare to believe it? I dare you. Believe. Hope. And SHINE.

Nic

I can’t believe I am writing this post.  I really can’t.  Imagine my worry about just what PICTURE I should use for this.  Oh, the visual!  Let’s not go there.   Let’s just get straight to the point: There is poo in our pools.  All of them.  A lot of times we swim around and [...]

Some friends of mine came to stay with me for a few weeks.  They had a lot of stuff with them because Grant was doing the Best Ranger competition at Fort Benning.  He came with 13 plus pairs of shoes – one for every sport available (and then some) – in order to prepare for [...]

  • When You Go Nose To Nose, I Dare You To Pray For The Moxie Of Jesus

I just love Jesus.  I mean, the guy had guts.  Many in the church today think Jesus was “meek and mild,” but I beg to differ.  Jesus was a Bad Ass.  Sorry, easily offended Christian friends, but it is the truth. I mean I can almost hear George Thorogood’s “Bad to the Bone!” blaring in [...]

For the past month or so I have been studying women in scripture. Specifically, I have been studying how women can be used by God.  Women leadership has always been a major issue in the church.  Can women be leaders?  What is God’s will on this? There are opinions from all corners on this topic, [...]

Yesterday I went to the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta.   I knew they did some sort of military discount so when I went to the ticket booth I asked about it.  The pretty girl behind the glass replied,  ”We do them for the Active Duty Solder.” I have heard this before and it gets [...]
