Welcome to Nic's Revelations

Hi! I'm Nic. So glad you stopped by today. We have all experienced darkness or lost hopes. This site will hopefully provide you with a little bit of light. When my husband was killed in action, darkness surrounded me, but Jesus has allowed light to shine out of the darkness, just like He promises all of us. From Doug's death came a passion to know more about Heaven, which in turn has caused me to do vast research on the end times, the Millennial Reign of Christ, and if you can believe it - Eden. All this research has resulted in three books: "Revelations: A Survivor's Story of Faith, Hope, and the Coming Kingdom," which shares my story of the hope of Heaven; "Revelation in Black and White," which is an 11-week Bible Study that will tell you everything you need to know about the end times; and "The Beginning in Black and White," a 4-week Bible Study that is meant to increase your faith. The Blog will touch on all of these topics, but also provide you with lessons learned in my daily life. God's light can shine in your life, no matter how dark it may seem right now. And His hope is returning one day to take all the darkness away. This site offers those walking in darkness hope so that our faith can be bold and victorious. No matter what you are going through, know this: He's Coming and He Shines. Will you dare to believe it? I dare you. Believe. Hope. And SHINE.

I had the honor of meeting Mike Viti yesterday. If you don’t know about this man here is an excerpt from his website:   “Mike Viti will be walking across America, over 7,100 kilometers, one kilometer for each and every service member who was killed in action during the Global War On Terror (GWOT). His personal goal […]

This past week I ran the Army Ten-Miler in Washington DC.   It was an experience I never thought I would have but one that was good for me.  I had a vision of a big group starting together but then slowly breaking up over the first mile or so – not the case.  There […]

God is pushing me lately.  Like really pushing me.  At first I didn’t like it.  Everything He led me to do felt wrong because the things He led me to do I hadn’t done since my husband was killed.  This caused a lot of stress.  I mean, go out after dark?  Not my thing.  What about […]

I’m in a bad mood.  Not a great place to be.  Lately I have just felt stagnant, like nothing is happening.  Like I’m going through the motions and I have nothing to go to.  Like I know where I am supposed to be and I’m not there yet. I am working my butt off and […]

  • When You Go Nose To Nose, I Dare You To Pray For The Moxie Of Jesus

I just love Jesus.  I mean, the guy had guts.  Many in the church today think Jesus was “meek and mild,” but I beg to differ.  Jesus was a Bad Ass.  Sorry, easily offended Christian friends, but it is the truth. I mean I can almost hear George Thorogood’s “Bad to the Bone!” blaring in […]

For the past month or so I have been studying women in scripture. Specifically, I have been studying how women can be used by God.  Women leadership has always been a major issue in the church.  Can women be leaders?  What is God’s will on this? There are opinions from all corners on this topic, […]

Yesterday I went to the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta.   I knew they did some sort of military discount so when I went to the ticket booth I asked about it.  The pretty girl behind the glass replied,  “We do them for the Active Duty Solder.” I have heard this before and it gets […]
