Welcome to Nic's Revelations

Hi! I'm Nic. So glad you stopped by today. We have all experienced darkness or lost hopes. This site will hopefully provide you with a little bit of light. When my husband was killed in action, darkness surrounded me, but Jesus has allowed light to shine out of the darkness, just like He promises all of us. From Doug's death came a passion to know more about Heaven, which in turn has caused me to do vast research on the end times, the Millennial Reign of Christ, and if you can believe it - Eden. All this research has resulted in three books: "Revelations: A Survivor's Story of Faith, Hope, and the Coming Kingdom," which shares my story of the hope of Heaven; "Revelation in Black and White," which is an 11-week Bible Study that will tell you everything you need to know about the end times; and "The Beginning in Black and White," a 4-week Bible Study that is meant to increase your faith. The Blog will touch on all of these topics, but also provide you with lessons learned in my daily life. God's light can shine in your life, no matter how dark it may seem right now. And His hope is returning one day to take all the darkness away. This site offers those walking in darkness hope so that our faith can be bold and victorious. No matter what you are going through, know this: He's Coming and He Shines. Will you dare to believe it? I dare you. Believe. Hope. And SHINE.

Christmas is here. Most of us stop at least for a moment during this busy season and contemplate the Nativity. Sometimes the Nativity becomes something a little “magical” or “romantic” to us.   We gaze at the ornate wise men and the manly shepherds, the donkey and the stable, the manger and the straw, but […]

Can you be wholly devoted to God, yet not rely on Him? Can you be wholly devoted to the Lord, yet miss Him? The answer seems to be – “Yes.” There was a king of Judah named Asa.  It says in 1 Kings 15:14 that Asa “was wholly devoted to the Lord all his days.”  […]

You are having a conversations with a co-worker about all the bad stuff happening in the world.  You make a comment that perhaps it is time for Jesus to come back.  You expect a casual nod, or a “tell me about it,” or at least a polite change of topic.  What if the response was, […]

David’s family was a mess. A 100% catastrophe. David was a man after God’s own heart – but he had a little too much mercy on his own family.  He never ruled with the “rod of discipline” as it says to do in Proverbs 13:24.  “He who withholds his rod hates his son, but he […]

  • When You Go Nose To Nose, I Dare You To Pray For The Moxie Of Jesus

I just love Jesus.  I mean, the guy had guts.  Many in the church today think Jesus was “meek and mild,” but I beg to differ.  Jesus was a Bad Ass.  Sorry, easily offended Christian friends, but it is the truth. I mean I can almost hear George Thorogood’s “Bad to the Bone!” blaring in […]

  • Let’s Ram a Tent Peg Into The Enemy’s Head.

For the past month or so I have been studying women in scripture. Specifically, I have been studying how women can be used by God.  Women leadership has always been a major issue in the church.  Can women be leaders?  What is God’s will on this? There are opinions from all corners on this topic, […]

  • Crying over Coke

Yesterday I went to the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta.   I knew they did some sort of military discount so when I went to the ticket booth I asked about it.  The pretty girl behind the glass replied,  “We do them for the Active Duty Solder.” I have heard this before and it gets […]
