Welcome to Nic's Revelations

Hi! I'm Nic. So glad you stopped by today. We have all experienced darkness or lost hopes. This site will hopefully provide you with a little bit of light. When my husband was killed in action, darkness surrounded me, but Jesus has allowed light to shine out of the darkness, just like He promises all of us. From Doug's death came a passion to know more about Heaven, which in turn has caused me to do vast research on the end times, the Millennial Reign of Christ, and if you can believe it - Eden. All this research has resulted in three books: "Revelations: A Survivor's Story of Faith, Hope, and the Coming Kingdom," which shares my story of the hope of Heaven; "Revelation in Black and White," which is an 11-week Bible Study that will tell you everything you need to know about the end times; and "The Beginning in Black and White," a 4-week Bible Study that is meant to increase your faith. The Blog will touch on all of these topics, but also provide you with lessons learned in my daily life. God's light can shine in your life, no matter how dark it may seem right now. And His hope is returning one day to take all the darkness away. This site offers those walking in darkness hope so that our faith can be bold and victorious. No matter what you are going through, know this: He's Coming and He Shines. Will you dare to believe it? I dare you. Believe. Hope. And SHINE.

Today is Passover in the Jewish culture – it was the day Jesus was taken by the authorities, given an unfair trial, and condemned to death.  I am reading through Matthew right now, and a verse jumped out at me.  It comes when Peter cuts off an ear of a guard in order to hinder […]

  • Look to the End – His Focus Was You

My morning reading happened to be John chapter 2 – Jesus goes to Cana for a wedding and He turns the water into wine.  It says in scripture it was His first sign, meaning it was His first public miracle. It hit me this morning in a completely different way than it has before – […]

  • The Hunt of a Lifetime

This past weekend some great guys took my kid hunting.  This hunt was exclusively for Gold Star Families – or families that have lost someone in service to their country.  My boy was one of six boys who were taken out by four different hunters during a two day period of time (morning and evening […]

  • Get Inside the Ark

I recently went to the life size rendition of Noah’s Ark in Kentucky.  When you drive up to it, of course, you are impressed. The thing is really stinking big.  But what really impressed me was the inside.  It seemed even bigger.  Standing in that ark, walking from room to room, from level to level, […]

  • When You Go Nose To Nose, I Dare You To Pray For The Moxie Of Jesus

I just love Jesus.  I mean, the guy had guts.  Many in the church today think Jesus was “meek and mild,” but I beg to differ.  Jesus was a Bad Ass.  Sorry, easily offended Christian friends, but it is the truth. I mean I can almost hear George Thorogood’s “Bad to the Bone!” blaring in […]

  • Let’s Ram a Tent Peg Into The Enemy’s Head.

For the past month or so I have been studying women in scripture. Specifically, I have been studying how women can be used by God.  Women leadership has always been a major issue in the church.  Can women be leaders?  What is God’s will on this? There are opinions from all corners on this topic, […]

  • Crying over Coke

Yesterday I went to the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta.   I knew they did some sort of military discount so when I went to the ticket booth I asked about it.  The pretty girl behind the glass replied,  “We do them for the Active Duty Solder.” I have heard this before and it gets […]
